About WristTopo
Hi, I'm Piotr. I built WristTopo because existing Apple Watch navigation apps didn't match the potential of the hardware. I wanted something fast, smooth, and detailed — real offline maps that actually feel good to use in the mountains, on ski tours, and on trails where there's no cell signal.
I'm a solo developer based in Poland with nearly 15 years of experience building performant software. When I'm not coding, you'll find me ski touring, mountain biking, or exploring trails somewhere. WristTopo exists because I needed it myself. And yes, the goal is maps so good they make $900 Garmins shy.

Why indie?
No investors. No growth-at-all-costs pressure. No dark patterns to extract maximum revenue. Just me, trying to build the best navigation app I can for people like me.
This means I can focus on what matters: making the app genuinely useful, respecting your privacy, and keeping things simple. When you upgrade to Pro, you're not feeding a corporation — you're directly supporting one person's work.
Privacy by default
I don't want your data. I don't sell ads. I don't track where you go. Your routes and locations stay on your device and in your iCloud — I never see them. This isn't a marketing claim, it's just how I think apps should work.
